Paula goes to Judge Parks’ annual Christmas party in Charleston, SC, where she is to entice the separated judge into an embrace in his bedroom, but before she can complete her mission, things go terribly wrong.
The love of Paula’s boyfriend, Jim Roberts, an antique dealer she met on the beach the previous summer, is tested because of what she has done. She is confronted with the possibility of losing this special man, and faces criminal charges with potential jail time.
The FBI investigative team of John Dibbs and Albert Mendez are assigned the case and discover that there are many possible suspects in a double murder. The twists and turns are numerous as they attempt to capture the elusive assassin within the picturesque, “holy city” of Charleston. Paula seeks to redeem herself from a bad decision, as someone tries to kill her.
